I get why these books are blowing up, Serena Hawke. They offer freedom in storytelling and let readers explore desire without judgment. I haven’t read many spicy romances, but I’ve seen how they open conversations people used to avoid. It’s art meeting honesty in its boldest form. As we say back home, you don’t hide fire under dry grass.

Now, I must admit that romance seems to differ from place to the other, or from culture to culture. We humans also seem to express it in different ways, dictated by our various cultures.
